The attorneys of Baron Warren Redfern are members of either the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) or the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA). Neither of the foregoing institutes issue membership numbers. Members of CIPA and ITMA are regulated by the Intellectual Property Regulation Board (IPReg) – see ipreg.org.uk
In brief, this means that all our practicing attorneys have had to complete a rigorous examination and training programme, and have to do at least 16 hours further professional training every year.
It also means all our practicing attorneys are subject to the IPReg code of professional conduct, that we must ensure your work is protected by professional indemnity insurance, and that you can ultimately complain to IPReg about us if any issues cannot be resolved by us.
